Look for us this November, 2019 as we provide donation opportunities at various Wooster businesses. If you want more information about how and why the "Buddy Poppy" was created, ask for our post Tri-fold!
Coming home doesn't mean the battle is over. With over 10 times the amount of veterans lost to suicide than to combat operations in the same time period, there has never been a more important time to TAKE A STAND and DO something to support our veterans!! If you or someone you know is suffering from PTSD, we have people that have shared a similar experience and are ready to help.
The mission of VFW Post 1081 is to actively
help Veterans. We will also provide education to the public about the Veteran
experience and promote healthy camaraderie and
patriotism in our community. As in 1923 when the "Chaplain Kieffer VFW post
1081" was first chartered, our service and leadership will help guide the
next generation of Veterans toward a better community through engagement,
acceptance and a commitment to lead fulfilled lives today and in the future
Our programs support our service members while they are on the front line, as they are being discharged and long after they return. Your tax-deductible donation will be immediately directed to the VFW programs where your support is most urgently needed.
